Jay Daskreet is a rapper, poet, author, and singer. Chicago born, Mississipi bred, this urban wordsmith best known for his captivating lyrics and wordplay.

A graduate of Rosa Fort High School in Tunica County, Jay started singing at a young age, but shortly after an unexpected voice change, he decided to focus more on poetry. His clever lines and knack for rhyme put him in the perfect, life changing position and Hip-Hop became the catalyst for his biggest opportunities. After winning several open mic battles, he was encouraged by the host of the shows to record his music. The rest is history.

Jay DaSkreet has gone on to do some major things in several industries. Jay was the first Hip-Hop artist booked for the Solar Flux Fest. He won the 2019 Tennessee Songwriter Competition, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist at the Artsy Awards which he was nominated for 2 other times and he has opened for La Chat, Zed Zilla, David Banner, Zo! and the Foreign Exchange.

He is a Brand ambassador for Millionaire Grind Clothing and Bellies Brand Clothing. He is the owner of Skreet Tunez LLC and he created Skreet Inkz which is his independent clothing label.
